Circle of Liberal Reformers
The Circle of Liberal Reformers ((フランス語:Cercle des Libéraux Réformateurs)) is a political party in Gabon, formed in late 1992 and led by Jean-Boniface Assélé. It is part of the Presidential Majority supporting President Omar Bongo.〔("Gabon : Assélé fait le point sur les dernières élections locales" ), GabonEco (bdpgabon.org), 21 June 2008 .〕
The CLR supported Bongo's candidacy in the December 1993 presidential election.〔(''Africa South of the Sahara 2001'' ), Europa Publications, page 509.〕
In the parliamentary election held on 9 December 2001, the party won two out of 120 seats. In the 17 December/24 December 2006 parliamentary election, the party won three seats out of 120.〔(Gabon : Le PDG reste majoritaire à l'Assemblée nationale : Les résultat des élections législatives - Gabon - Politique - Afrique )〕
